DUAL LL.M. DEGREE

Tecnológico de Monterrey has partnered with Washington University School of Law to deliver a dual Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree — online. The dual-degree program gives non-U.S.-trained lawyers the chance to earn an LL.M. in Transnational Legal Practice from Tecnológico de Monterrey’s School of Government and an LL.M. in U.S. Law from Washington University School of Law.

According to QS World University Rankings, Tecnológico de Monterrey is ranked No. 1 in Mexico and No. 7 in Latin America. Washington University School of Law is a top-20-ranked law school in the United States according to U.S. News & World Report.

@WashULaw’s innovative virtual campus allows students to attend classes from anywhere in the world, keep their jobs and advance their careers. Take the next step by requesting more information. This will begin a conversation with an Admissions Counselor who can provide details about the program.

ACADEMICS

Taught by the same distinguished Tecnológico de Monterrey and Washington University School of Law faculty who teach on campus, the curriculum for this dual-degree program develops practical and theoretical knowledge of both U.S. and international law. The dual-degree consists of 35 credits that can be completed on a part-time or full-time basis.

Upon completion of the program, students earn two degrees:

A Master of Laws in Transnational Legal Practice from Tecnológico de Monterrey
A Master of Laws in U.S. Law from Washington University School of Law

Some required courses include:

  • Intellectual Property
  • Fundamentals of U.S. Law I: Contracts
